Many electronics circuits and projects for learning in simple ways.

Electric Fish Shocker Circuits

This is the simple electric fish shocker circuit or fish stunner. It helps in catching fish easier, it use 12V battery to convert to 220V AC or 110VAC. We use few parts so easy and cheap.

How it works
This circuit convert voltage from 12V battery to AC 220 volts. Both transistors will alternately work ON and OFF. Because above phase of transformer has same phase with below there.

Electric fish shocker circuit

For example, top transistor conduct current before, the voltage from 12 volts will be sent to the center trap OV to go to the up terminal.

It make the center is positive and up terminal is negative and down of 12V terminal is also negative. Then, the negative voltage at below terminal so make lead B of all above transistors is bias current.

When above transistors stop conduct current. Magnetic field collapses causing a reverse-phase induction center was negative. The positive terminal is 12 volts then, the positive voltage will flow to R to bias lead B of below TR, makes it is the switch to connect circuit causes, induction the 12V to the coil of the lower switch like this forever.

How to builds

Look at the circuit diagram , we use the 12-0-12 volts, 3A transformer = 1 pcs. (the general power transformer) Then, bring the 2N3055 transistor to screw at the large heat sink. Next, connect R-470 ohms, C-0.1uF and Diode-1N4007 as Figure circuit.

You may use the universal board and connect the battery to input andthe output to wires into the prongs to shock the fish.

Current will flow from the second terminal of the wire determines the cause of the shorting it. It does not shock me. Because it does not full circuit. Unless you hold both ends only.

Let the fish cook delicious things from this projects.

  9. Hello,

I am an amature to these kind of stuff. Please tell me whether we could use a 12v DC output to stunn fish. I am worried to play with high volts. Pls advice me with a safe current to play with.

  10. when i put 2wires in water ,voltage drop from 300 to zero.

  11. How many turns of primary and secondary windings are used?

  12. I was getting a bit frustrated because there was a output but no input on the schematic. I kept looking for the “12v+” and “12v-“. Then I gave up and started looking at the components. Don’t worry I took an asprin for the headache I got from the smack on the forehead I gave myself when I saw the battery symbol. (DUH!!) To be fair a battery symbol is not “12v+” or “12v-“, and that is Exactly what I was looking for. It never occurred to me to include the battery after watchung so many vids of partial schematics. Though the battery should be marked with a value. I just hope I’m never looking for a cigarette lighter in a forest fire.
