We have 5 circuits of simple 555 Alarm sound.  IC-555 timer is popular forever. It is easy for a beginner as a buzzer sound. Or 555 tone generator 8-ohm speaker.

1. Simple 555 alarm sound generator

IC-555 is a pulse generator, with high frequency. Then, the PNP transistor boosts the current up to output an 8-ohm speaker.

The output frequency is determined by the value of R1, R2, C2.

Especially C2, If it is high value, the output is low frequency, bass sound.
The sound of pin 3 flows to R3 to limit the current for Q1. The Q1 is the amplifier to drive the speakers, 8 to 32 ohms.

C2: 0.01uF  50V  Ceramic Capacitors
C3: 0.1uF  50V Ceramic Capacitors
R1: 100K  0.5W resistors
R2: 4.7K  0.5W  resistors
R3: 100 ohms 0.5W  resistors
R4: 33 ohms 0.5W  resistors
Speaker 8-32 ohms
