Digital volume control circuit schematic

This is a digital volume control circuit that Can be applied to the normal volume of a power amplifier. When press switch S1 adds up the volume and press switch S2 to reduce the volume down.

There are three circuit ideas for you.

555 Digital volume control

IC1 is a 555 CMOS Timer Single IC will be connected in astable flip-flop model as pulse frequency generator up / down to input pin of the counter IC2-74LS193, through push-bottom switch S1 (Up) and S2(Down).

digital volume control circuit

Changing wide of pulse signal from IC1 may replace R1 with potentiometer.

To begin with, when we press the switch S1 (increase sound) binary output will be add up and when press switch S2 (Reduce sound) the binary output will low down. The maximum counter to count to 15 (All output are logic “1” or “Higher”) and lowest is the counter 0 (All output are logic “0”).

The output ABCD of the counter IC2 will use to control both gate. Which is bipolar analog switch (IC3 and IC4 – CD4066). In either bit output are “High” logic. The resistors connected in series are the resistors R6-R9. In left signal channel and R10-R13 for right signal channel.

In this way, the control output of a sound signal to the output of the power amplifier. The switch S3 is used to reset the output of the counter to 0000. For this reason, to make adjustments to the volume of both channels is low.

Digital Volume circuit using DS1669

Digital Volume instead of a rotary press using IC DS1669

This is the Digital Volume Pushbutton, which will replace Volume traditional rotation. With simple circuits.

Using only a single IC that is at the heart of the work that is IC1 number DS1669.This circuit uses only one input signal input via pin 1 of IC1. Can be used.

The switches S1 and S2 are off by press release on the increase and decrease sound volume.

When pressing the switch S1 will increase the volume. And when I press the switch S2 to lower the volume.

The signal output from the pin 6 will be used to control amplifier another one.

Switch volume control using OP-AMP

This circuit IC1 is an op-amp circuit connected to an Integrator circuit.

Operation of the circuit. When the press switch S1 will have positive current flow from the power supply Through resistor R1 to charge the capacitor C2.

As a result the output of IC1, lower voltage to 0 volts. When the switch press switch S2, the voltage output level of IC1 is back.

Increase nearly as quickly or until the supply voltage. When the buffer circuit IC1.

Therefore, the voltage output of IC1 is how much value will be passed to IC2 and the output voltage (Vout) that you want.

Remote and Touch volume control circuit using MC3340P

Remote and Touch volume control circuit by MC3340P

If you are tired of adjusting the volume with a normal volume. I suggest this is the remote and touch volume controls circuit. You can adjust the volume by pressing the touch. To increase or decrease the volume of the amplifier, the microphone and other easily.

We use the MC3340P is the main equipment. It is suitable for typical uses include instrumentation control, remote control audio amplifiers, electronic games, and CATV (cable TV) set–top converter audio control.

Remote and Touch volume control circuit using IC-MC3340P

We used IC1 acts as a buffer to help add up the sensitivity in the connection. when touch point input, the audio from input to pin 1 of IC2, the signal high or low follow by we touch, if decrease output pin 7 will low level signal, but increase point the audio output is higher to the power amplifier next.

  1. 74193=TTL(Operates @5v) while 40193 is CMOS and operates over a wide range of low voltages.also CMOS has low Power Consumption and operates over a wide range of temperatures,I hope This Helps!!!

    • Hello Jesse Balingit,
      Thanks for your visit.

First of all, I have never built it. But I like this circuit. If you have DS1669. It is a good time for testing.
However, I want to help you. The voltage rate of all capacitors is 16V or 25V for C2 and 50V for C1.

If you try this circuit, please don’t forget to share me.

      Thanks again,
      Apichet
