DIY Power Strip for my electronic work bench. In experiment an electronic project that use AC-line as power source. When we turns on-off load or the project. I always remove AC plug input. But it does not convenient and very slow when happens an accident.
Then I try to use an Universal Surge Protector / Power Strip which very useful. But it have large size and have too many OUTLETS more than necessary.
I need just one Outlets only.
Incidentally, Circuit inside (as Figure 2) them use a SPST switch only cause though we turns OFF switch but may current flow to our body.
I need a DPST(Double-pole, Single-throw) Switch to cut off current from AC-line to load both terminal whitch include L(line) and N(neutral). It cause safety from AC-electrical current.
Let’s build it.
As Figure 3 is the circuit diagram or how to assemble components. This switch be build-in with a neon lamp for indicate power on when we turn on. A fuse is use as load protection I use 0.5A for most my job.
In this case I assemple all parts on small universal box to compact to use. as Figure 4
The more datail I want to homework of you.
In next time I experiment any projects easily and safety.
