The frequency may be selected to be from 0.001Hz to 1Mhz, Frequency modulation and sweeping can be accomplished with an external voltage and the frequency can be programmed digitally by resistors or capacitors. Sweep range can be up to 40:1 or 1000:1 with a little less quality.
