German Chipmaker Creates Electronic Jacket

For someone who claims to have everything, comes a new invention developed by German chipmaker Infineon and Bavarian clothes firm Rosner: an electronic jacket that plays music and has a mobile phone in it.

The jacket contains Bluetooth technology sewn into the jacket, and an MP3 music player controlled with a textile type keyboard located on the sleeve. According to a Rosner spokesperson, the jacket would retail for 600 euros (about $736 US Dollars).

The jacket has an electronic module made up of an 8-hour rechargeable battery. It can be taken out in order to clean the jacket. The music system doubles as a headset to make and receive phone calls.
